A Pakistani pop singer named Atif Aslam is being praised on the internet for stopping in the middle of his show to scold a group of guys who were harassing a female fan.
The video of the incident — which occurred Saturday night during a concert in Karachi — has gone viral, receiving thousands of retweets.
According to Metro, just before jumping into a song, Aslam stopped his band and shouted to the men in the crowd, “Haven’t you seen a girl?” “Your mother or sister could be here as well.”
He and his band members began helping pull the girl from the crowd while fans cheered and applauded.
“Insaan ka baccha ban,” he said to the unruly group of men, which translates to, “act like human beings.”
Twitter has been commending Aslam for his noble act. He could have carried on with his set and ignored the harassment he saw happening right before his eyes, but instead he took action.
Imagine if everyone with a public platform used it for the sake of the greater good.

Massive respect for Atif Aslam. Stops midway during his performance, goes to the 1st row, rescues a girl from harassers, goes back to sing.— Sonam Mahajan (@AsYouNotWish) January 16, 2017

The girl, who was obviously a fan before the ordeal, must have an even stronger admiration for him now.
