Pharrell Williams makes the world go “Happy” on Saturday Night Live.

SNL this weekend was all kinds of awesome.

Anna Kendrick guest-hosted the show, composer Hans Zimmer was with the orchestra and Pharrell Williams was the musical star who gave the most entertaining performance of the night by singing his chart-buster single Happy.

Also, it was Pharrell’s birthday on April 5, making the mood all the more festive for his fans.

Backed by a group of children break-dancers, the hit-maker performed a superb rendition of the song which was also nominated for this year’s Academy Awards.
