Congratulations Pharrell’s fans all over the world.

The “Happy” singer has been chosen to open the latest installment of the “American Express Unstaged” live-streaming concert series.

The grand musical event was launched by multinational financial corporation American Express in 2010 in partnership with the web's leading video entertainment services, VEVO and YouTube, to live-stream five concerts over the course of the year.

This year, Pharrell, will team up with Oscar-nominated director Spike Lee for the big show. released the following details on Tuesday:

“Williams will play a special show at New York’s Apollo Theater on June 3 that will stream live at at 9:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. PST, with a production directed by Spike Lee. The live-stream will be free, but tickets for the concert itself were made available starting Friday, May 23, at”

To make it an even more interesting experience for fans, Lee and Pharrell came up with an Upstage photo project “Together As One.”

All you have to do is submit a photo of yourself facing forward and looking into the camera (don’t forget to smile!) before June 2. You might just see your face plastered on big screens in mosaic form (see below) while Pharrell performs “Know Who You Are”, a song off his album GIRL, during the live concert on June 3.

Also, if viewers tweet reactions using #AmexUNSTAGED, they would be able to unlock special online videos of Pharrell’s backstage antics.
