President Obama Slow Jams the News With Jimmy Fallon (Video)

Heads of States, Prominent politicians and celebrities all have a go at coming close to the people at portraying a humane image of themselves. But it would not be wrong to say that the President of the United States of America has by far been the most close to public president so far. He mingles with them, he lets them come close and get personal, he lets slide a lot of protocol breaches that former Presidents would not have dreamed of. Of course, a lot of it is part of his winning-the-vote-bank-campaign as well but one has to give him his due. He is down to earth, has a sense of humor and knows how to make people relax and let go of their inhibition around him.

In one of his recent stints he appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s show and did the whole ’Slow Jam the News’ routine with him. Indeed, it adds to his charm, but it also helps him address serious issues. He has the knack to get down to the level of people he is talking to and interact with them in a way they can relate to. Since in this particular instance he was addressing the students during his three-state tour of college campuses, there was no better way of winning them over than this.
