Helen Mirrenweighed-in on the birth of the royal heir at premiere of her latest film, "Red 2." London was in a frenzy on Monday over the birth of the royal baby – and the topic that dominated the discussion on the red carpet as actress Helen Helen Mirren and action man, Bruce Willis arrived for the European premiere of their latest film "Red 2."
The Oscar winner, who's best known for her lead role in the 2006 film that won her the award, "The Queen," wanted to celebrate the new heir to the throne and the Queen's new grandchild.
"But of course you know it's a lovely moment in our history. It's always sort of an important moment when the heir to the throne is being born, you know it's very exciting and I think we are very blessed with the mother," she said.
Prince William's wife Kate gave birth to a boy on Monday, the couple's first child and the third in line to the British throne.
