Rihanna And Chris Brown Together At Last? Are The Trouble Twosome Performing At The VMAs 2012?

International celebrity Rihanna and ex- boyfriend Chris Brown may surprise audiences and perform together during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, according to sources.

Rihanna’s camp has told the producers of the Video Music Awards that she will bring ex-boyfriend Chris on stage with her during her performance, according to a report by MediaTakeOut.com.

Reps of both Rihanna and Chris Brown said that they want to reunite in the form of song and that the MTV’s VMAs seem like the ideal time to perform together.

 “The producers like the ratings that (a Chris-Rihanna duo) would bring, but there could be some backlash too. There isn’t much choice since Rihanna is insisting that he perform with her,” said a source working with the VMAs.

One of Rihanna’s dear friends agrees that she would love the opportunity, adding:

“That’s obvious. Hell yeah, she would. There isn't anything she wouldn’t do for that. She’d do just about anything for him.”

A friend of Chris Brown also responded that:

“Why wouldn’t he? It would be the first time in a long…time that he would be on stage with his boo.”

It would be interesting to note that during a recent interview with Oprah, the 24-year-old expressed that she felt protective and defensive towards the'My Boo’ singer and that she will always love him.

Just to recap, Chris Brown and Rihanna got into an altercation three years ago the day of the Grammy Awards, when Brown, Rihanna’s then boyfriend, ended up severely punching her in the face and bodily injuring her. The singer’s photos were leaked and the two were the talk of the town for the longest time.
