KATY Perry and Russell Brand thought they were going to enjoy a nice trip to Japan this weekend - the only problem is ... Japan kicked Russell out of the country!
Celebrity website TMZ reports Katy is in the middle of the Asian leg of her tour and Russell came along for the ride - only things didn't go as planned. She went on to explain the problem was over "priors from over 10 years ago!"
"So my husband just got deported from Japan. I am. so sad. I Brought him all this way to show him my favourite place," she tweeted.
Brand seemed to be in good spirits over the whole ordeal, tweeting at one point, "Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick."
Immediately after performing her final Aussie gig in Brisbane on May 15, Perry snuck out of the country for a three-day rendezvous with Brand in Fiji.
After jetting in from Miami, where he is shooting a movie, Brand and his missus stayed one night at the Hilton before nipping off to a private island.
Then it was back to work: Perry flew on to Japan and Brand back to Miami.
Meanwhile, Perry's alleged backstage rider for her California Dreams world tour has been leaked.
It states her chauffeurs are only to speak to her when spoken to and not to stare at her in the rear view mirror.
Perry's dressing room at any concert venue must comfortably cope with six to 10 visitors and be decorated in pink and cream with "absolutely no carnations". Two bottles of Santa Margarita pinot grigio, organic fruit and vegetables that have been "properly sanitised" must be laid out. When staying overnight she also has to reside in the presidential suite of a five star hotel.
Perry's label EMI could not be reached yesterday.
