Sarah Jessica Parker and Cate Blanchett Among Hollywood Women Honored by Elle Magazine (Video)

An eclectic list of some of the most powerful and successful women in Hollywood gathered in Beverly Hills Monday night (October 15) for "The 19th Annual ELLE Women in Hollywood" celebration.

The elegant event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel, where the diverse group of women were honored for their profound impact and achievements in the film industry.

Among those being honored at the dinner included "Sex in the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker, academy Award winner Octavia Spencer, Cate Blanchett, Uma Thurman and Shirley MacLaine.

Past honorees of the event which champions the cause of women getting better roles on-screen have included Jennifer Aniston, Viola Davis and Michelle Pfeiffer and Julie Andrews.
