Michelle Obama And Hillary Clinton Celebrate Mothers Day on SNL

SNL this week showed celebrated Mothers Day with Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama.

This week’s SNL would not have been complete without giving tribute to Mother’s Day; so as usual, without letting its fans down; it did.

With both the ladies trying to be oh-so-not-jealous of each other; talked about Clinton’s impending grand-parenthood and possibilities of running in elections, but mostly their roles as mothers.

Hillary Clinton said she had no interest in being ‘Mother of the Year’ this year – but yes, she is considering a run for the position. You know, at some point. Maybe.

Sasheer Zamata did a remarkable job as Michelle Obama with Vanessa Bayer playing Hillary Clinton. Their jibes at each other were hilarious.

Charlize Theron hosted the show but unfortunately did not impress much. Her opening monologue was pretty much centered about herself and included a song which did its best to show how the beautiful and glamorous Theron lacks in the singing department.

Charlize Theron last hosted Saturday Night Live in November of 2000. This time over, she promoted Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West and featured The Black Keys.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) launched in 1975; since then it has not only won 40 Emmy Awards, the most for any show in television history, it has also been the most nominated television show in Emmy history with 171 nominations.

The show was inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame by the National Association of Broadcasters.

The show in its hilarity and on the mark parodies wins millions of hearts and as well as ratings every weekend.
