Are you excited for the brand new episode of ‘Sherlock’? If yes, then this video is a must watch for you since it has vital information on what’s in store for the upcoming series, coming directly from the cast and crew featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue.
"Sherlock's journey in the third series is re-assimilation,” said Cumberbatch.
"It's very much from a point of view of learning and adjusting to being brilliant, to having to confront something which points out that he is frail, he is human and he has weaknesses and vulnerability."
“The main thing I guess we can expect from episode one is how we deal with Sherlock and John being reunited,” explained Martin Freeman who plays Dr. John Watson.
"We know there has to be a reckoning of how he survived that fall, because we've all seen it, John's seen it,” he said.
Last week, BBC One released a Christmas special 7-minute episode – entitled “Many Happy Returns” – which also serves as a prequel to the third series, set to premiere on New Year's Day in the U.K. and January 19 in the U.S.
The minisode starts with Anderson, who – along with Sergeant Sally Donovan loathed Sherlock for his massive intellect – is convinced that Sherlock is alive. He is (sort of) tracking down the consulting detective’s movements and is sure that he is coming back to London. Read the following link to watch the complete episode.
