Hillary Clinton is giving rival Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders a tough competition in the presidential race. While her campaign across many states is in full swing, Clinton’s visit to Los Angeles set of "Scandal" on Feb. 22 got her very high-profile supporters.
Shonda Rhimes, who's responsible for some of the most popular TV shows on air — "Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy" and "How To Get Away With Murder" — teamed up with the leading ladies of those shows to throw their support behind Clinton. Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo, Viola Davis and Rhimes are in a new ad in support of the only female presidential candidate; it aired during Thursday's #TGIT lineup.
After the ad aired, Clinton took to Twitter to thank the celebrities for their support and participation.

Clinton is expected to be in L.A. on March 24 for a trio of fundraisers. Apparently, George Clooney also plans to host a Clinton event, but no further details about it have been released as yet.
