Lady Gaga was both host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 16. And she was fabulous.
Gaga opened her SNL monologue telling the two ways to get applause and how she even wrote a song called “Applause” for her new album ARTPOP.
Monther monster very cleverly explained the difference between real applause and cheap ‘pandering’ applause with a cabaret version of her hit single “Applause.” She amusingly changed the chorus of the song to ”I live for cheap applause”.
Gaga appeared on the show to support her album ARTPOP, which came out on Tuesday. She also performed ‘Gypsy’ and gave a raunchy performance with R. Kelly on her song ‘Do What u Want’.
Gaga also managed to poke fun at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in one of her several skits on the show.
Enjoy hey opening monologue in the video above.
