At the Grammys, some things never change. The fusion of artists who don’t have anything in common always pays off, Katy Perry almost always has a performance, and Taylor Swift always overreacts when the camera is on her.
That’s right, T-Swizzle is notorious for always being on the edge of her seat when she is on the big screen, and she did not disappoint this time either. When Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons took the stage to perform a blend of their respective songs “M.A.A.A.d City” and “Radioactive,” our Swifty – seated in the center of the front row – swiftly stood up and rocked the out.
Close enough? No?
But say what you want about the 24-year-old, she has a history of winning at the Grammys.
She won four of them in 2010, two in 2011, just one last year, and if it was some sort of mathematical sequence, she should have gotten half a Grammy this time around, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen for her. Despite being nominated in four categories, she went home empty-handed.
Her album “Red” came close to winning her the Album of the Year award though. She was expecting the presenter to go RRRRRRed, but he ended up saying RRRRandom Access Memories, which if you don’t know, is Daft Punk’s album.
Look at her go:
C’mon Grammies, don’t play her like that.
She had perfected her disappointed-but-gracious look as well. When she didn’t win, she did this:
And when someone won something, guess who was the first to dole a warm embrace?
Off-show hug? Try show off hug…
We did not get to see her do this though.
But the night wasn’t a total loss…
