The Mysterious Disappearance (And Reappearance) Of Katherine Jackson

It’s definitely not something that we have not heard or seen before. A family gets divided over the will of a wealthy relative and descends into skulduggery and bickering. But when Paris Jackson, the beloved daughter of king of pop music Michael Jackson, reported her elderly grandmother, Katherine Jackson missing, it was evident that the famous musical dynasty is being plagued with some sinister feuding.

The 82-year-old Katherine has since been located at an Arizona spa under the care of her daughter, Rebbie, but her grandchildren with whom she spends most of her time in Encino, California were not informed about the trip. Circulating rumors about Katherine’s disappearance and Michael’s siblings trying to draw a wedge between a grandmother and her grandchildren boils down to one central point which is Michael’s will.

When he died of a drug overdose in 2009 Michael left much of his $600million to his mother and three children. Katherine became guardian of Prince, 15, Paris and Blanket 10, whereas, the rest was designated for charity. However, the will was dubbed as 'fake, flawed and fraudulent' by Jackson’s five brothers and sisters.

Among the ones challenging the authenticity of the will included singer Janet Jackson and other members of Jackson Five Stars Tito, Jermaine, Randy and Rebbie. Last month they also wrote a strong-worded letter to John Branca and John McClain, Jackson’s two lawyers who were also named his legal executors.

Sources have revealed that Katherine’s trip to Tuscon spa with Rebbie is all part of a planned and concerted effort to get Katherine on board with their claim. At the same time in order to fizz off any other speculations Michael’s brother Jermaine tweeted that his mother is fine and she is merely following doctor’s orders to rest-up and de-stress.

 On the other hand Paris Jackson tweeted: 'I haven’t spoken with her in a week. I want her home now.’

 It is apparent that the wealth dispute is overburdening Katherine with stress she is not equipped to handling especially at this age.
