With every passing year we grow up, make new friends, develop new interests and different ideas and get involved into different physical and mental activities depending on our priorities. Transitions from a kid to an adult may change you into a completely different person because there are a lot of different qualities you are losing and as many others that you are adapting.
Movies happen to be one of those things which evolve as you evolve. That said, there are some movies which have a constant place in your life. Everyone has a favorite movie or a couple of movies that grab your attention whenever you are surfing through channels in boredom.

10. THE SIXTH SENSE
Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) is a child psychologist whose new patient is a six-years-old, Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), who claims to see spirits of dead people and has psychic powers that he cannot understand himself. This case for Dr Malcolm is far outside his usual area of expertise as Cole can channel ghosts who are disturbed but he is constantly terrified by them as well. The events in this movie and how it leads to strange and unforeseen consequences for both of them makes it one of the most memorable movies that we have seen.

9. THE WIZARD OF OZ
The Wizard of Oz stars famous Judy Garland as Dorothy, a naive farm girl who gets out of her ordinary existence into a life of pure imagination. Her journey in Oz takes her through forests, terrifying castles and yellow bricked roads, all with the help of some strange but cheerful friends.
It is one of a very few shared experiences that we all have seen when we were young, and it leaves a permanent mark on our imaginations. It positions among our earliest and major experiences of marvel and of fright. Also, who doesn’t remember this phrase: ‘Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore”

8. BEFORE SUNRISE
Before Sunrise is a lovable, intelligent romantic comedy that stars Ethan Hawke as Jesse, an American boy travelling through Europe meets Celine, (Julie Delpy) a French student, on the train. They leave the train to spend one romantic evening together in Vienna but both of them know that this will probably be their only night together.
This beautiful movie scores number 8 on the top ten charts of most rewatchable movies.

7. CLUELESS
Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne (Stacey Dash) are pampered posh girls who care less about school grades and more about good clothes. Cher, who lives with her strong but affectionate lawyer dad (Dan Hedaya), also has a natural urge to help those who are less privileged.
At heart, she is sensitive and in search of her ideal boyfriend, whom she ends up finding where she least expected. This movie captures the attention of all with its remarkable performances and it became the standard for 1990's high school flicks.

6. BACK TO THE FUTURE

Starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover and Thomas F. Wilson, this film tells the story of Marty McFly, a youngster who by mistake is sent back in time from 1985 to 1955. He gets to meet his future parents in high school in the past and unintentionally attracts his mother’s interest romantically.
Now he has to patch up his parents and make them fall in love again. Also with the help of Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown, he must find a way to go back to 1985. As kids all of us loved this movie and even today if you see it on television screen, it catches your attention instantly.
5. ALIENS

The Alien film series is a science fiction film franchise focusing on Lieutenant Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and her battle with ‘the alien’. The series started with the 1979 film Alien, which lead to six other movie sequels including: Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992), Alien Resurrection (1997), Alien Vs Predator (2004), Alien Vs Predator: Requiem (2007) and Prometheus (2012).
From 1979 till today this movie franchise has fascinated the audiences and with every new sequel one feels like watching the previous sequels again.
4. THE LORD OF THE RINGS

The Lord of the Rings is a classic film trilogy consisting of three adventures films: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002) and The Return of the King (2003). Directed by Peter Jackson, the movie is set in the imaginary earth of middle-earth, the trilogy follow Frodo Baggins (Elijah wood) as he and the fellowship get on a quest to destroy ‘The Ring’ and ensure the destruction of Sauron, the Dark Lord.
Most of the people have successfully tried to watch the Lord of the Rings marathon and have enjoyed doing so and even if there’s another chance of doing so, it’ll be grabbed.
3. THE GODFATHER

Based on Mario Puzo’s 1969 novel of the same name, The Godfather is a 1972 American crime film starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino as the heads of an influential New York crime family.
The Godfather is widely regarded as one of the greatest movies in the world of cinema. This movie became so successful that it’s two other sequels were also made: The Godfather Part 2 in 1974 and The Godfather Part 3 in 1990.
2. DIRTY DANCING

‘Baby’ Houseman (Jennifer Grey) a 17-year-old spends the summer with her family at a resort in Catskills. One night she hears loud sounds as if a party is going on in the employee's area. She discovers most of the hotel staff enjoying close dancing. Baby gets struck by attractive Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), a dancer in the resort, and falls in love with him.
Dirty Dancing was a bombshell box-office hit, and the soundtrack album was an even better success.
1. CASABLANCA

Starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid,Casablanca is a 1942 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Curtiz. Set during World War II, it focuses on a man stuck between love and values. He must decide between his love for a woman and helping her and her husband run away from the city of Casablanca to carry on his struggle against the Nazis. The film was a spectacular success in its initial run and won three Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The iconic film deserves to be on number 1 of the top 10 evergreen and most rewatchable movies.
