Whether its Computer animation, Stop motion animation or 3D Animation; animation studios have always focused to deliver the best to us. So, here we have compiled a list of top 6 of our most favorite animated movies of all time.

The Lion King

Released in 1994, The Lion King is a film that mixes together action, comedy, and drama to make itself a film that is adored by both children and adults. It’s a story of a shame and guilt ridden lion cub who runs away and abandons his identity as the future king after being tricked into thinking that he killed his father by his uncle.

This movie is the best animated film of all time and unquestionably holds the top position in our countdown.

Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo is certainly Pixar’s Mona Lisa! The story revolves around an over-protective clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal tang named Dory, searches for his lost son Nemo in Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and let Nemo take care of himself.

Pixar in 2003 definitely created some tremendously adorable characters that are still quoted by children to this day. The beautiful world created by Pixar in Finding Nemo is a visual treat, indeed. The movie stands at number 2 in our list.

Up

Released in 2009, Up is an American animated comedy-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by Pete Docter.

It’s a movie that doesn’t only leave you in a state of thrill and delight but it also brings you to tears at many instances, crafting three of Pixar’s finest and most factual characters to date.

The film centers on an elderly widower named Carl Fredricksen and a sober young explorer named Russell. By tying thousands of gas balloons to his home, 78-year-old Carl sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America and to complete a promise made to his lifelong love.

The animated-adventure holds the number 3rd position in our list.

Aladdin

This two dimensional animated film from Disney outshines as one of our favorites!

Released in 1992, Aladdin is a memorable love story of a roadside thief and princess Jasmine. This romantic animated movie unquestionably had one of the most impressive villains of all time!

Aladdin brings a sense of amusement with a joyful genie and it is one of those few wonderful animated movies that you can watch over and over again.

Ratatouille

Released in 2007, Ratatouille holds 5th position in our list and is definitely one of the most beautiful animated movies ever made.

The story revolves around Remy, a young rat in the French countryside who arrives in Paris, only to find out that his cooking idol is dead. When he makes an unusual alliance with a restaurant's new garbage boy, the culinary and personal adventures begin despite Remy's family's skepticism and the rat-hating world of humans.

Ratatouille serves as one of Pixar’s most mature pieces by showing how moving and affecting a film can be in its message! This beautiful animated film has actually made us fall in love with a rat.

Toy Story Series

Toy Story series is a CGI animated media franchise created by Pixar and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, beginning with the original 1995 film, Toy Story.

The three movies focus on a group of toys that clandestinely come to life and end up embarking on life-changing adventures.

When Pixar comes to animated storytelling, it doesn’t get much better than this. So, this impeccable animated series is at number 6 on our list. It didn’t seem fair to put the three films of the Toy Story series at three separate spots on the list, particularly when you could consider the three films as one long story.
