Top Five Reasons Why Kristen Stewart Shouldn’t Be A Presenter At The Oscars 2013

Everything about the Oscars was grand until it was not when Kristen Stewart was announced to be among the presenters at the ceremony. Yes, this blog is going to be a Kristen Stew(RANT!). So, if you are a staunch Stewart fan (though I doubt that there is anything as such) I would recommend you not to be one. Please! It is just not right and not even funny.

I’ll tell you why; I have my (own) reasons and would gladly share with the world.

1.      The Oscars Are All About Class, She Is Just A Bored Lass

Oscar is the night when awards are given away for excellent and perfect cinema and performances. It is the night to honor people who are exceptionally brilliant with what they do and they work hard to be Oscar-worthy. Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, has not really given any signs of interest (or life within herself) in what she does. It’s not my fault and I am not exaggerating. She really doesn’t! Check out any of her movies and comment on this blog if am wrong. She is just SO bored all the time. How can a person, who is super stone-like, entertain people at an event as huge as the Academy Awards? Just how?

2.      The Oscars Night Is About Glamor, And Kristen Stewart Doesn’t Fit The Bill! Sorry.

If people think I am being unfair (when actually I am not) when I say Kristen Stewart can’t act and therefore shouldn’t attend the Academy Awards, let’s just jump to the part where glamor and looks are involved. Stewart has been (RIGHTFULLY) voted as the least sexy actress in Hollywood. So how come a person who can’t act and doesn’t even appear pleasant to the people (it’s not me, it’s the people talking here folks) be a presenter at the awards?

3.      Presenters Are Supposed To Laugh, Or At Least Smile

When presenting an award a person has to be or at least appear to be welcoming and warm. Not dead or an identical twin of the Grim Reaper. Presenters, ideally, have to look lively and smile because the event is all about celebration not cremation. Seriously! Kristen Stewart, as we all know did not, has not and will not smile. It’s not healthy (or human)for the event.

4.      Oscars Require Diversity And Change. Kristen Stewart Is Neither

It’s not just me but a whole group of people out there who would agree that Kristen Stewart (absolutely!) lacks diversity. And she has not yet made any effort to change what’s constantly not changing about her. It actually includes everything about her, acting, looks…Acting. She is ever so indifferent and doesn’t pay heed to what critics say. She needs some change in her roles and the way she performs. Definitely not Oscar material.

5.      She is Kristen Stewart, ‘Nuff Said!

Not to get personal but I guess she hasn’t been a role model kind of person in the recent past and her performances in five films are enough proof of the fact that for now, she doesn’t deserve the hype she is being given. The worst part is that there hasn’t been any effort on her part to improve her acting skills. And that doesn’t make her worthy of being a presenter at the Academy Awards or even be there for that matter.

Oscars are all about perfection. And Kristen Stewart is quite the opposite of it. What she has been able to produce in her movies is absolutely not something that can be associated with Oscars in any way. But the fact remains that she (or maybe Bella Swan) has a lot of fans out there who will want and watch her present the Oscars. It’s definitely the ‘(astrological) star power’ that has helped her to get this far. Otherwise acting is certainly not her forte. Not yet. She has a lot to prove (and express).
