The Edge fell off stage during the opening night of the U2’s world tour on Thursday night.

It happened when the group was performing “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Numerous videos of the incident posted online show the guitarist misjudged the unusual shape of the stage and stepped off the side.

Fortunately, he is OK.

This is not the first time a U2 band member took a tumble off the stage, BBC notes.

“Bono fell backwards off stage at a Miami concert in 2001 and slipped off a rainy stage in Washington, D.C. in 1987 – dislocating his arm and requiring him to wear a sling for a dozen shows. He also fell in 1983 during a gig in Germany after trying to climb a barricade.”

U2 just kicked off their Innocence + Experience world tour which involves 70 dates in 20 cities across North America and Europe.
