Who? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Named Hottest Woman In Maxim Hot 100

Every year since 2000, Maxim's Hot 100 names the hottest and sexiest women on the planet from number 100 to number one. Most women who earn number one honors are high-profile, well-known celebs like Katy Perry in 2010, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria.

The “celebrity” named this year's hottest woman, relatively-unknown Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, is bound to receive a “who?” or two from people unfamiliar with the British model turned actor.

She could become a household name soon, though, as she's set to take the role that made Megan Fox famous in the upcoming summer movie, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” Fox was largely unknown before she began starring in the Transformers movies, and quickly became a staple in Maxim's Hot 100. Huntington-Whiteley is hoping for a sort-of reverse path to stardom.

Joe Levy, Maxim’s editor in chief, gave some more details about why Huntington-Whiteley topped the list, “Rosie is a true transformer — a Victoria’s Secret stunner who is about to go supernova when she takes over for Megan Fox in the ‘Transformers’ franchise. Her talent is as undeniable as her beauty, which is pretty jaw-droppingly undeniable.”
