You Won’t Believe What These Child Stars Look Like Today

Indrani Sengupta
Just because E.T.'s story is long over, doesn't mean Elliott didn't keep growing. The baby-faced child stars you remember are all grown up, and here's where they are now:

1. Haley Joel Osment, who saw dead people in The Sixth Sense (1999)

Osment most recently appeared in the film adaptation of Entourage, and in a number of other TV and film roles. The following is a picture of him on the set of Yoga Hosers, in which he plays a Nazi.

2. Macauley Culkin, who played Kevin McCallister in Home Alone (1990)

Culkin returned to acting in 2000 after several years out of the limelight. He's done theater, and appeared on TV shows such as Will & Grace and Kings.

3. Angus T Jones, who played half a man on Two And A Half Men (2003)

Jones isn't too fond of the TV show that made him a household face anymore, but he still acts. And he's done charity work with a focus on child wellbeing.

4. Ralph Macchio, who played Daniel LaRusso in the Karate Kid (1984)

Macchio has worked in films such as My Cousin Vinny, and TV shows such as Ugly Betty, and Psych. And he was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars!

5. Wil Wheaton, who played the much-maligned Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)

Wil Wheaton is now Wil Wheaton, blogger/youtuber extraordinaire. You may recognize him from the web show TableTop, or The Big Bang Theory, in which Wil Wheaton plays Wil Wheaton.

6. Jaleel White, who played the beloved Steve Urkel on Family Matters (1989)

Jaleel White is still acting, but he's also a screenwriter now. And Sonic the Hedgehog? Yep, that's his voice.

7. Bug Hall, who played Alfalfa in The Little Rascals (1994)

He can still rock the suspenders, has made guest appearances on several TV shows, and is a musician and acting teacher.

8. Nate Richert, who played Harvey Kinkle on Sabrina The Teenage Witch (1996)

It's all music, all the time for Richert, who is now a professional musician.

9. Mara Wilson, who played the mischievous title character in Matilda (1996)

Wilson is a writer, playwright, stage actress, and voice actress, and we kind of want her to be our best friend.

10. Parker McKenna Posey, who played the Kady on My Wife And Kids (2001)

Posey still acts, but she's a model, too.

11. Abigail Breslin, who played Olive in Little Miss Sunshine (2006)

After an academy award nomination, Breslin went on to work on some pretty big films, such as August: Osage County and Zombieland.

12. Amandla Stenberg, who played Rue in The Hunger Games (2012)

Sixteen years old and with a sharp understanding of cultural appropriation.
