Eat Organic

Candice Swanepoel’s diet consists of eating organic food. In an interview with Fashion TV Candice stated that she maintains a healthy lifestyle, instead of a temporary diet. “I eat organic, I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and I eat a lot of protein.”  Candice also revealed that for her, she can eat whatever she wants without gaining weight due to her high metabolism. Basically she hit the genetic jackpot. However that doesn’t mean she abuses her body.

“Food-wise, I’m very, very lucky that I can eat whatever I want,” she says. “For me, I’ve always had a healthy lifestyle. If I eat something that’s not fresh, I feel it immediately, so I crave good food. I crave meat. I grew up on a dairy and beef farm, so I crave that. I don’t cut anything out, and I just work out more,” Candice told Okmagazine.

The Workout

Because Candice Swanepoel’s diet is something she keeps up with consistently it isn’t a last minute thing for this Victoria’s Secret Angel to get into shape prior to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Candice stated that she likes to focus on her legs the most when she prepares for the fashion show. Candice’s trainer Justin Gelband explained, “Exercise is about quality not quantity. You really want to get the most out of whatever you’re doing.” Justin gives her a full body workout. But he likes her focus mostly on her butt.  Below is a video of a demonstration of what Candice’s trainer does to get her runway ready.

 

Stay Motivated

When you are dieting and exercising it is easy to be temporarily motivated and then fall off the band wagon. To follow the Candice Swanepoel diet, you will have to stay motivated year round. Candice stays motivated due to the fact that it is her job to wear bikinis year round. For us regular folk it may be a little harder, but there are still some things you can do to stay motivated. Candice suggests working out in something sexy because then you can see what you need to work on your body. She also recommends doing something that is fun for you. Working out with a partner is also an excellent way to stay motivated and keep you accountable.
