Do you find that no matter what you do you can’t seem to achieve that clear perfect skin? When you get acne there could be multiple reasons as to why you are breaking out. It could be internal, external, or both. There might be a few things you are unaware of that you are doing that might be breaking you out. Below are 5 unique tips to getting clear skin. These tips are not unique because they are unheard of; they are unique because many people forget to do them on a regular basis. Remember even if these things don’t clear up your skin 100% they are still good to do.
Change your pillow cases weekly

This may seem like a no brainer, but you’d be surprised how often people forget to change their sheets and pillow cases. We put so many products on ourselves, especially our heads and these transfer onto our pillows. Then we put our freshly washed faces onto the pillow and pick up old dirt, oil and bacteria.
Clean your makeup brushes weekly

Cleaning your makeup brushes and sponges on a weekly basis will help remove bacteria from building up on your brushes and transferring onto your face. Use some kind of gentle detergent, even your face cleanser could work if it is purely a cleanser. Condition with olive oil if your brushes become too dry, then rinse.
Wash face for 30seconds to 1 minute

When we wash our faces most of the time we just rinse off our makeup in a few seconds. Studies have shown that when washing your hands it takes at least 20 seconds for the soap to be effective and kill bacteria. The same applies to your face. Rinse with luke warm water, and be gentle.
Tomato exfoliator

Exfoliating is essential for acne prone skin. It is not recommended to use exfoliators with granules on acneic skin, it can be painful and even cause more breakouts! So how do you exfoliate? You can use an enzyme peel, chemical peel, or retin A. One unique, inexpensive, and effective way to remove dead skin cells is to cut a tomato in half, and rub it onto your skin for a few minutes. Let the juice dry on your skin for ten minutes. Then remove with a towel. This will also help lighten any scarring and pigmentation due to the antioxidants and vitamin C in the tomato.
Fish oil

Fish oil has so many internal health benefits such as lowering blood pressure, reduce heart disease, reduce chances of stroke, and reduces inflammation. It even reduces inflammation on the skin and has been proven to reduce acne flare ups. So take two capsules a day!
