The dash diet is recommended for people with hypertension or prehypertension. It has also been found to fight against diabetes, lower cholesterol, and lower blood pressure, prevent heart disease, and strokes.
Dash diet was also ranked as the healthiest diet because the eating plan is well rounded. The diet is rich in fruits and vegetables and consists of whole grains, potassium, calcium, magnesium, as well as being low to moderate in fat.
Although the dash diet has become a popular lifestyle choice, others are finding more unique ways to shed the pounds and get in shape. Annie Kelahan, a circus arts fitness student, has taken to circus fitness to lose weight. Circus fitness is a full body workout that uses circus equipment to work the core muscles of the body.
