Burberry and Google have come together to spread some love around. They two have gotten together to come up with a technology that allows users to capture and send a digital imprint of their real kiss to anyone in the world.
The video features Burberry’s Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign couple Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge and shows how simple it is to send an imprint of your kiss across the miles in just a few seconds. What’s more, users can choose one of five Burberry lip colors for their kiss and it has options to Save and tweet your kiss as well.
Their tag line: Send a festive kiss this season.
And, we are sure you will enjoy the real-time ‘World of Kisses’ map, showing all of the world’s kisses as they fly between locations, revealing which cities are sending and catching the most kisses.
All you have to do is go to kisses.burberry.com press your lips to the screen and your kiss gets captured by webcam then fill out a postcard to send from your town to your recipient’s destination see it traveling.
Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey says, the project means to give technology "a bit of heart and soul."
Now this is giving the term ‘virtual kisses’ an entirely new meaning-so kiss away.
Here’s a glimpse of what the experience is like:
