Let’s make this year’s International Women’s Day more than just a celebration.

A crowdfunding site “Catapult” is striving to highlight the modern day women’s rights abuses through a powerful campaign called “The Cover Stories" on March 8.

To initiate the conversation, three mock magazine covers have been used that cover the stories of girls who go through forced child marriages, slavery and prostitution. 

"Our partner organizations hold events and media outlets often feature articles about inspiring women or important causes associated with women. That's great, but we really want people to get fired up and take action to make a difference in the world,” Maz Kessler, Catapult's founder and creative director, told Mashable in an interview.
