Charlie Rae Catapults Into Internet Singing Sensation Thanks To Reddit VIDEO

If you really have a talent you want the world to know, then Reddit is the right platform for you, a platform that recently transformed a struggling street singer Charlie Rae into a viral sensation.  Performing on the streets of San Diego a video of her performance was posted on YouTube. The video became an instant hit amassing nearly 400,000 views.

Sources reveal that Charlie is a struggling pop artist who performs on the sidewalk of a busy street in downtown San Diego. She was performing an acoustic version of her balled "What Do You Know," when a marketing consultant mesmerized by her performance captured her on a cell phone. Charlie recently took part in Reddit ‘ask me anything’ AMA through which she got the opportunity of interacting with her fans. It was further revealed that Rae, who has opened up for artists like Sheryl Crow and Michelle Branch has also self-released a live album.

Her Reddit fans were effusive with some of their comments like: “She is awesome... my question is why doesn't she go 30 minutes north and addition at one of the 100 Del Mar clubs that would love to have her for a set during the week?” This was also accompanied with others who commented: “You are incredible. Please never stop making music.” With a couple of producers and publishing companies approaching, Reddit has definitely done a life time job for Charlie.
