The demand for chicken wings goes at an all-time high as it has become a staple food for Super Bowl party menus. Super Bowl weekends are probably the biggest chicken wing eating days of the year.

Chicken companies have produced at least one percent fewer birds last year due to the corn and feed price hike. And since the demand is so high and the birds are not plenty enough, this is causing a big problem for all the special Super Bowl chicken wing lovers. Moreover, two men allegedly stole 26,000 pounds of wings earlier this month, adding much more misery to the whole scenario.

Football fans across America are furious at the fact that they won’t be able to enjoy their favorite food during their Super Bowl games and parties. The corn price hike is responsible for the less production of birds since corn makes up more than two-thirds of chicken feed. It means that less corn leads to higher feed costs which then result in less production of the birds which ultimately means fewer wings for Super Bowl and this is one of the biggest concerns for the National Chicken Council.
