One of the vital duties of the firefighters is to save lives and what could be better than saving the lives of man’s best friend.
Detroit Fireman rescued two dogs from a burning house. Both of them were brought out of the house in the hands of the firefighters but after getting some Oxygen and water they were able to stand on their feet.
This clip belongs to a documentary called – BURN. – One Year on the Frontlines of the Battle to Save Detroit. The touching scene when the owner asks the firefighters ‘Did you get my dog out?’ was captured on camera and makes you teary eyed.
BURN is being funded by donations and made its first appearance at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival winning the Heineken Audience Award and $25,000. The firemen belong to the Engine Co. 50 on Detroits east side rescue team.
