Don’t Make Up and Drive! (Video)

This is a video with an impact. Literally. Women put on make up while driving with more frequency than can be believed and it causes accidents that disrupt people’s lives in some cases, even fatally.

Volkswagen and DDB Tribal have teamed up with the famous YouTube beautician Nikkie de Jager to create a video warning women not to drive while putting on make-up.

The video shows Nikkie giving a makeup tutorial when she is in what seems like a car crash. It is shocking enough to put the message across with great clarity.

The video ends with a slide that shows the stats from a poll by the UK Telegraph found stating that more than 500,000 car crashes a year are caused by women applying make-up while driving and a message that reads, ‘Please don’t makeup and drive.’

The video has had 391,382 views so far. We also hope the message reaches the people who watch this video and make a difference.
