For many Muslims across the globe, Eid is being celebrated today. Eid is usually a three-day Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting.

What really is Eid? Eid is an Arabic word which means ‘festivity,’ while Fitr means ‘original nature,’ implying the restoration of one’s best human composition. This holiday celebrates the conclusion of the thirty days of fasting from dawn to sunset during the entire Islamic month of Ramadan.
