The birds continue to flap.
Gamers, your favorite game has not been wiped off of every virtual arena.
Where You Can Find the Game
We’re cutting to the chase! The game is available online. So, unless you’re willing to dole out more than $100,000, we suggest you make do with this. You may not get the mobile experience, but hey, something is better than nothing.
"Don't worry we are not going anywhere," states Flappybirds.com. "Play Flappy Bird online for free! No longer available in the app store."
Vietnamese indie game developer Dong Nguyen launched ‘Flappy Bird’ less than a year ago. The game was a commercial success, topping the mobile app charts and garnering up $50,000 a day.
That’s serious money for a one-man show.
It was all good in the hood until Mr. Nguyen decided to completely remove the game off mobile app stores. He tweeted: “I am sorry Flappy Bird users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down,” and “I cannot take this anymore.”
He was not bluffing. He did indeed pull the game out. Fans have been far from sympathetic. His move has ignited the rage of fans who are threatening to murder him for the game.
Yes, the mobile community is ablaze but fans do have something to rejoice over.
Do you think Flappy Bird’s online presence is any consolation? Comment and share your feedback with us.
