Eid ul Azha is celebrated after 10 days of Hajj, The Muslim Pilgrimage, obligatory on every able Muslim at least once in their lifetime.

The three day celebrations of Eid are all about family gatherings, parties and lots and lots of food. Needless to say the predominant ingredient in most of the dishes is meat.

Eid is celebrated in different Muslim cultures in their own respective flavor but the  practice of sacrificing animals; the joy of celebrating with friends and family and sharing with  the poor and the needy remains the same across the world!   And added to that, the celebrations also remain the same all over!

Barbecue, of course is a must during the festivities of Eid ul Adha. This time around, we decided to bring some dishes which you can easily make from the comfort of your own home! From the sub-continent favorite Bihari Kabab, to the world famous Steak and chicken tikka masala!

So what if there’s a little change in the menu like a light stir fry that even is preferred with beef rather than chicken. And to top everything of, no celebrations would ever be complete without some finger licking desserts and Eid has its fair share of recipes for those as well. Check them all out here

Food is a way of bringing people together and for an event that centers upon sacrifice and giving, Eid is celebrated as an occasion where people give and share first and then enjoy the occasion with friends and family.
