For a city that has always been known for its arrogant waiters and inhospitable shop staff behavior, it’s time for a reality check. In a recent move many will view as long overdue, Parisians are finally up to take care of their world-beating lack of manners.
RATP, the city’s chief transport authority, has launched a poster campaign through which they intend to educate locals in the way they behave. Comparing Parisians to animals, it shows a variety of them performing each of their selfish acts and behavior.
Some of the posters that have been launched by RATP include a hen screaming into a mobile phone while sitting on a packed bus, a frog jumping over the barriers along with other shameless beasts performing the most intolerant acts.

In addition to this RATP has also created a website which allows people to complain what they find most exasperating about Parisians. Feedback regarding the campaign encouraging ‘la civilite’ has mostly been positive so far. Many people have expressed that the initiative must have been taken years ago.
Also, some people believe that such kind of attitudes has always existed, but today we are less prepared to tolerate such kind of anti-social behavior.
It is anticipated that with these new anti-social animals taking over Paris Metro, the people of the city will be able to earn the title of ‘most well-behaved citizens’ rather than just sticking its Eiffel Tower and romance.
