Every year Muslims across the world fast during the month of Ramadan. Their diet revolves around two main meals, Suhoor and Iftar. The latter marks the end of the day-long fast at sunset while Suhoor is eaten before sunrise.
The types of food served vary by region. Pakistan has developed its own culinary traditions around "Ramzan" and you will find similar foods served in millions of households across the country.
Although it is recommended that people maintain a healthy diet during this month, especially with regards to food that keep energy levels high, many Pakistanis turn to more...ahem...indulgent options.
