But over time it can become easy to get lose your motivation and give up. Celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America to discuss her tips on how to keep your weight loss resolutions all year long.

Do something you like

Doing something that is fun and doesn’t bore you will enable you to continue to stay motivated when you work out. Tracy Anderson explains why dancing is good for exercise: “Dancing is good because you are working all the muscles in your body. It requires your brain to be participating in your workout.”

Stick with it

Whatever you end up doing for your work out routine stick with it and don’t give up. Tracy Anderson trained Gwyneth Paltrow by dancing in her workouts and Gwyneth was not a dancer, but she stuck with it and has had incredible results.

Switch it up

Switching up your workout routine increases weight loss results faster. Tracy has her clients switch up their workout routines every ten days. Tracey says to think about and focus on how you want your body to look. “You wouldn’t build a house without plans. That’s why you need to pick a program that has the body results that you want”, says Tracy.
