Jennifer Lopez Makeup: How To Do Glitter Lips From “Goin’ In” Music Video

Jennifer Lopez just released a new single featuring Flo Rida called “Goin’ In” and of course she looks hot and trendy from her makeup, to the body, to the hair. Every time Jennifer Lopez comes out she always looks on point, and this time is no different. Glitter lips are in and were one of the hottest trends seen at IMATS this year.

Jennifer Lopez’ glitter lips are not just plain glitter, but it looks as if they were actually bedazzled! To find out how to achieve regular glitter lips just watch the tutorial below.

How to bedazzle your lips

First you will need: jewels, something pointy to apply it with (a clean cuticle pusher could work), and edible adhesive.

To add the bedazzled effect you will have to purchase some extra jewels from  an arts and crafts store like Michaels, or you can even use some from a nail kit (just don’t use that glue and DO NOT swallow them!).

Begin by dipping a pointy clean instrument of your choice into the glue. Then pick up the jewel with your hand and place a little glue on the back of the jewel. Then apply it with your pointy applicator. Repeat process until you are done.

Place the jewels on one by one following your natural lip line. Then fill in the lips with the rest of the jewels. To stick on the jewels it is safest if you use edible adhesive. You can actually make your own edible glue or you can buy one that is designed for edible decorations like Dab-N-Hold (such as for a cake).
