Katy Perry and husband Russell Brand are not the type to do things low key, so it should come as no surprise when the couple decides to buy a new house for a staggering $6.5 million.

The two put their previous house in the Hollywood Hills on the market a month ago, and the new home might top the old one. These photos show a sophisticated new house for Perry and Brand, which sits in L.A.’s hip Los Feliz area, and has three stories and seven massive bedrooms.

The Spanish-style home was built in 1925, and also has nine bathrooms, a guest house, a home cinema, a grotto-style swimming pool spread across 8,835 square feet. Oh and if photos of the house look familiar, that’s because it was featured on season one of The Bachelor!

Radaronline reports that Perry, 26, and Brand, 35, purchased the property from Daniel Lakin, the former CEO of National Lampoon, who was sentenced to 45 months in prison for stock manipulation charges. It’s in better hands now!
