Have Break, Have A KitKat: This New Ad Will Put A Smile On Your Face

Guys, KitKat is back with a bang.

Who doesn’t remember the iconic ‘Have a break, Have a KitKat’? The new ad is created by the famed advertising company, JWT – previously known as J. Walter Thompson. The company has handled KitKat’s advertising since the brand was created in 1957.

Created for the UK market, the new KitKat ad is the first released in Britain since 2011 and is a tribute to their famous tag line. Featuring a high–speed car chase between cops and robbers, the latest ad campaign serves as a reminder for people to take a break.

The TV ad starts off with the cops chasing a sports car. As the two cars turn into an empty warehouse, both vehicles stop, and the occupants get out of their respective rides to talk – all the while they are sharing a Kit Kat.

While speaking of the latest ad, Nestlé’s UK & Ireland marketing director, Jon Lambert said, “We wanted KitKat to return to screens with a humorous campaign; reminding everyone not only of the importance of a smile in a break but that KitKat is the chocolate bar to provide that.

In the United States, KitKat is made under license by The Hershey Company and is the fifth most popular chocolate candy in the country.
