Extreme motorsport enthusiasts in Saudi Arabiashowcase a stunt technique called "sidewalk skiing", where drivers put a new slant on audacious driving.

The video shoaws Captain Impossible and his "Impossible Group" are doing a bit of "sidewalk skiing" in a Saudi Arabian desert.

"I raise the car on two wheels and drive it on the right and left sides. We do a lot of acrobatic movements on two wheels; including taking the tires off (while driving), 'jumping' on the sidewalks, driving in the desert, lots of things, with small and large cars,'' says Captain Al-Mustaheel (nicknamed 'Captain Impossible')

Al-Mustaheel  claims it's not dangerous, as long as he keeps his speed between 20 and 40 kilometers per hour - that's under 25 miles per hour.

He hopes he'll be able to further develop his driving skills and make this a profitable hobby.

It seems for these Saudi men the new racing craze has fueled new life into mundane driving ... a stark contrast to their female counterparts who are yet to be allowed behind the wheel.
