Nature has its own miracles and its beauty is simply divine!
Numerous photographs and videos from space have featured the universe beautifully. As much as we are aware of the beauties of nature, we can’t help but get mesmerized in the richness and colors of these auroras.
Various natural phenomena have captured people’s attention since ages. Millions of people gather to witness whenever a meteor passes the earth or when solar/lunar eclipse occur... these phenomena are outstandingly supreme and beautiful.
Auroras are another of nature’s breathtaking phenomena, but they are a step ahead, they are really magical to witness! Wikipedia describes Aurora as ‘a natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude (Arctic and Antarctic) regions, caused by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in the high altitude atmosphere (thermosphere).’
But believe me it doesn’t look as theory-like as it sounds. It’s a tremendously beautiful sight to look at. Those who have witnessed consider themselves very lucky.
Here’s a proof:
It’s said that the best time see it on Earth is the coldest and darkest nights of the year which means that the people at Northern hemisphere enjoys quite a few more nights then the rest of the world for Aurora’s perfect viewing.
Fortunately for us, folks at International Space Station have captured ‘Aurora Borealis’ and ‘Aurora Australis’ in pictures from the space.
