Miss Italy Contest Bans Bikinis: A Step Towards Recognizing Inner Beauty Of Women

With time we have witnessed a lot of bikini-boldness in fashion, in beauty pageants, contests and ramps. In fact this boldness is a part of these beauty pageants. If you are not bold enough to wear a bikini how can you even think of yourself as a model?

Models reveal their fit and toned tattooed bodies to people in bikinis and then they are judged on how they have maintained themselves and how good they actually look when the reveal their bodies.

But how about taking a step towards recognizing inner beauty of women now? A step towards banning bikinis in favor of swimsuits? It might offend some, especially male television viewers in Italy! But this step is actually taken by the organizers of Miss Italia beauty Contest!

The organizers said this move would ‘add a sober element’ to the contest and that ‘interior beauty as well as exterior beauty’ was important.

With revealing bodies, these models need to have tattoos and surgeries and body piercings… So, to make it less pain full for the ladies participating, the organizers decided not to include any tattoos or body piercings in the pageant, in fact women who have had plastic surgery are forbidden to enter the pageant!

Wow… Miss Italia Beauty Contest has really made the job easier for the girls! Now what they only have to be is natural and confident! This is moving ahead of superficial beauty and including inner beauty to the pageant.

When you win a pageant, you win as a person on your complete personality, on your originality and genuineness as a person… So why be fake? Why represent yourself as someone who needs to reveal in a bikini to tell who she is as a person?

Pageant organizer Patrizia Mirigliani said: 'With this type of costume we will be returning to the classical beauty of the 1950’s, the era of female legends who we still admire and respect even today and these costumes will really highlight feminine beauty.’

All these rules acknowledged by Miss Italia Beauty Contest are sincerely a step towards recognizing women as who they are and to highlight the feminine beauty instead of the superficial and temporary one!

Now instead of waiting for the swimming suit round in the pageant, people will actually understand what’s the pageant is about and will be attention to the actual beauties of Miss Italia Contest…
