British photographer Nick Veasey's work of X-ray images provokes thought and serves to question our obsession with image and often superficial beauty.
Apparently for this artist, beauty is not just skin deep.
In his radiation-proof bunker studio, he has made a career creating artistic X-ray images.
Over the years Veasey has made many X-ray photographs, from small everyday objects to a complete airplane hangar. Because of the severe radiation, Veasey can only work with inanimate objects.
Veasey's thought provoking body of work will be on display in the UK and Canada later this year.
