Some expecting mothers are shocking many as they are trying to make a quick buck in an unethical way. Expecting mothers are actually placing their positive pregnancy tests for sale on craigslist.

The reasons for placing positive pregnancy tests for sale vary. Some are selling the them as a practical joke, while others are selling it to con men into staying with them, marry them, or to get money.

In this short clip below from CNN, some people were asked about their opinions on women posting positive pregnancy tests for sale on craigslist. One man stated: “I still don’t think it’s right. That’s playing with people’s emotions. That’s a real life situation; you don’t mess with stuff like that.” Another person said, “That’s like any other con. Cons are no good and it never results in anything positive.”

The ads on craigslist to purchase the positive pregnancy tests range from $20-$40. Here is an example from the clip below of what one reads: “This is becoming very popular…I am 8 weeks pregnant selling pregnancy tests!! IF you wanna prank someone or even trap a man into marriage .. please feel free to email or text Amber.”

No matter what these positive pregnancy tests are being used for it’s pretty messed up to do such a thing, even if it is a practical joke. What do you think of it? Should this be allowed? Or do you think it’s not that big of a deal? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
