You’ve probably heard of so many baldness cures out there that make big claims but don’t deliver much. From hair transplants, hair plugs, toupees, sprays, pills, creams and oils, there’s not much on the market that actually cures baldness. Now, finally, researchers are claiming to have found a baldness cure that actually works. Scientists have found a new way to grow hair.
Dr. Richard Besser explained to ABC News how the new baldness cure works: “They took skin cells that don’t normally grow hair; they put them in a dish and treated them, and turned them into hair growing cells. They then injected them back in the skin that didn’t have hair, and hair grew.”
Dr. Besser went on to explain that the current hair treatments for baldness cures were about getting existing cells that stopped growing hair to start growing hair again. This balding treatment is different in that it is actually creating a new hair growing cell.
This is a huge breakthrough in science. It will probably be a few years before they will be able to offer this baldness cure to the public as scientists work out a few things. What do you think about this new baldness cure? Do you think it will actually work on everyone or maybe just on some people? What baldness cures have you used? Let us know in the comments below!
