Sephora's Digital Upgrade Will Change The Way You Buy Makeup

by
Sephora stores are getting a digital upgrade that will change the way you buy makeup. The first "studio" opened in Boston, with many opening up across the country.

Sephora stores near you are about to get a makeover of their own, and if you thought there was no way you could love walking through the aisles of Sephora even more than you already do then think again! This overhaul that Sephora is getting will make your customer experience more personal and easier.  According to a news release, Sephora Studios will soon be opening all across the United States.

The average Sephora store is 5,500 square feet, but Sephora Studios will only have 2,000 square feet, and you'll find them in neighborhoods, not malls. The new mini stores will allow Sephora employees to assist each customer which will ensure that customers have a more personalized shopping experience.

You will be greeted with welcome monitors as well as the Sephora + Pantone Color IQ touch screen upon entering the store that will help you find and pick out the exact colors you need based on your skin tone. So futuristic! Each customer will also have their own Digital Makeover Guide, an interactive face chart that keeps a running log of all the services they've ever received, and it also gives out customized tips and application suggestions. This is the future that every beauty junkie wants, and we'll take it over flying cars any day of the week.

If that wasn't enough the studios will be the very first Sephora stores that will offer the new Beauty Studio Service,  which consists of a 75-minute makeover with the choice of a mini facial or a skin care consultation.

Unless you live in Boston where the first Sephora concept store has already opened, you’ll have to wait until one opens in your area, but the good news is that several more stores are opening soon! The first store opened July 21 on Boston's Newbury Street, which is known for its eclectic mix of boutique and luxury shops.

Here’s a little peek into the new Sephora Studio, which looks gorgeous. Those lucky Bostonians!
