Snoop Dogg Name Change To Snoop Lion

The rapper formally known as Snoop Dogg and Snoop Doggy Dogg has decided to undergo a name change calling himself Snoop Lion. Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg, says he has been reincarnated. Reincarnated is actually the name of the upcoming film about his spiritual journey in Jamaca.  

In a Rastafarian temple a high priest suggested to Snoop that he is a lion, not a dog. Of the name change, Snoop Lion has said “I want to burry Snoop Dogg and become Snoop Lion.” But Snoop Lion has an appreciation for his former name Snoop Dogg, “if I had not been Snoop Dogg, I would never have been able to become Snoop Lion,” he explained to the press.

Snoop Lion has also decided to change the type of music he makes from rap/hip-hop to Reggae. The question everyone is asking: is this name change from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion permanent? Snoop Lion definitely seems to think so, “Snoop Lion is the elevation of Snoop Dogg,” he stated.
