To mark the Diamond Jubilee, Konditor & Cook bakers are going to make a portrait of Her Majesty out of 3,120 little cakes.
Each one, hand-dipped in various colours of icing, will mark one week of the Queen's reign.
The bakery has already completed a test run using 500 cakes which went according to plan.
The huge portrait will be just over 94 square feet in size. Over 1,000 eggs, 50kg of butter, 150kg of sugar and 36kg of marzipan will be used to make the final piece.
