Myth # 1: Not Eating After 6pm makes you healthy

This Idea came from the concept that one should not eat for at least three before hitting the bed, considering 9-10pm the common bedtime. Truth is eating late at night has hardly anything to do with weight gain.

Myth # 2: Always eat food free from all fats

It is not sensible to always go for fat-free food. The diet free food has empty calories. Our body requires every natural chemical like cholesterol, fat, protein in smart quantity to be healthy. Having no fat at all will affect human body. Truth is eat healthy rather than eating fat-free food is good for human body.

Myth # 3: Burn every calorie you consume by exercising it

Exercising too much and burning too much calories can be harmful.  This takes you to a situation called ‘Exercise Anorexia’ where person feels no control over his life other than eating and exercise habit and can cause injuries, exhaustion and delayed weight loss. You should always remember this; your body is always burning your calories. So you should do exercise in healthy manner, standard is 30-60 minutes at least 3-6 times a week.

Myth # 4: Adopt Physical Activaties and forget the gym

Adding more physical routines to your daily routine is highly advisable like taking stairs, cycling, etc but it cannot at all be your substitute for Exercise Routine.

Myth # 5: Skipping meals helps in weight loss

Many people around the world are inclined towards this false myth eating less and skipping meals is sensible. Truth is being hungry for long time can be harmful to you and will let your body go into starvation mode. Healthy way to follow is eating in Portions.

Myth # 6: Eating low-carb helps you stay fit

Carbohydrates are must for healthy weight loss. If good carbohydrates are chosen they will help you in weight loss in healthy manner. You should also include resistance starch which upper the glucose level of our body and keep us full and also reduces the hungriness of our body in healthy way.
