Keep makeup to a minimum

Because of the heat and (depending where you live) humidity, keeping your foundation makeup to a minimum is best. Victoria suggests using a tinted moisturizer instead! Just spot conceal the areas that need extra coverage.

Wear waterproof mascara

People tend to sweat more during the summer which can lead to smudgy eyeliner and mascara. To prevent that use waterproof mascara. If you really don’t like waterproof mascaras, using a translucent powder beneath your lower lash line can also reduce smudging.

Wash off makeup entirely, EVERY NIGHT

In Victoria’s interview with Self Magazine she tells her number one beauty rule: wash your face every night before bed. "I wash off my makeup every night before bed. It's my number-one rule for good skin."

Keep hairstyles simple

Victoria likes to keep her hairstyle simple during the summer. "I don't do intricate braids or hard-to-master updos. Just fresh, clean-smelling hair, worn down."
