For once, Vogue supports weight and a bit of plump. The fashion magazine's September issue breaks its own record with 916 pages and weighs 5 lbs.
What a way indeed for Vogue to celebrate its 120 years in publication? The nearly five pound magazine breaks its own record by 76 pages. The fashion filled issue covered by Lady Gaga is packed with 658 ad pages, which is reportedly a 14% growth from last year.
Vogue was founded in 1892 by Arthur Baldwin Turnure. During the last 120 years, Vogue has rightfully become "the world's most influential fashion magazine." Though fashion is not just a woman’s realm and Vogue agrees to it, only four men have been featured on the cover of the magazine in all these years, including Richard Gere (1992), George Clooney (2000), LeBron James(2008) and Ryan Lochte (2012).
The September issue hit newsstands on August 21.
